Fished the Tightliners Forum comp at Erith today and got me Sole on the 4th visit to this mark in the last 2 weeks Wasn't a very nice day weatherwise a lot of drizzle BUT when you are fishing and having a bit of friendly banter with mates who bothers about the weather   and I had Sole and jersey royals for dinner |

Nice one Dick, was it a winning fish?
I fished Brighton Marina Saturday, from 9.30 to 4pm and only managed 4 mackies 2 red gurnard 1 tub gurnard and fishing right down the wall with a size 10 hook, a massive bass all of 4" long !! weather was crap and chilly, Merv who comes out on the boat with us had a nice flounder of around a pound and a half.
Was hoping to get a few more macks for use as bait at a later date, but they were just not playing the game. it was hard work getting what we did, and it was packed out down there, with pretty much the same result all round.

Just back from Italy and Corfu, note lack of shell fish, pollution? all fish are Very lack of fish on any menus.
But what some did have was Sole, which were very good!
