Day 1 We decide to go species hunting on our 1st day and drifted the reefs/rough ground towards Land end Caught the Mackeral for bait fairly easily and then started the proper fishing and after my first fish I realised I had driven 300 miles to catch a species I could of got on Kent a fecking doggie there were a few species about but I couldn't get any of the west country ones I was after i.e. Grey Gurnard me only gainer for the day was turbot of which I had the only 2 on the boat , both small so went back , the only fish we kept was a nice Brill of about 4lbs Day 2 The wind and rain were terrible left the harbour and got as far as Mousehole and stopped to see if we wanted to call the trip of or anchor up and wait for the wind to go northly as forecast (which it didn't) so anchored on a bit of rough ground after a species that none of us had had before. They were only in a very small area and the wind kept blowing us of the mark but on the 3rd attempt at anchoring Chippy got it spot on and we all gained these for our species list That only leaves me Couch's and Pandora Bream to go and I have had all the british ones Sorry about lack of photo but didn't fancy getting me new camera wet

depends what you want to do , normal fishing is about £400 a day for the boat Sharking is dearer because of the distance to the shark grounds
there are "dayboats" that charge per angler which works out at £20 for a short trip and £40 for an 8hr one but you could be out with an expieranced crew or a load of tourists (emmits)
